Game Operating Regions

Game Operating System
Explanation
Pre-game
This is when the player is selecting the options of how they want to actually load up as some games ask for the quality you want, resolution, fullscreen mode etc.
Game start
This is when the game is being loaded up, where you see the various company logos that have been working on the game and also when you're at the main menu and trying to load up a current level. There is no actual gameplay in this section as it is purely just loading and setting up the game.
In-game
This is when the player is currently in the middle of an online match, campaign or even cutscenes.
Post-game
This is when the game is completed and the credits are rolling, the final cut-scene is playing etc. This could be after completing the main story, a level or a co-operative level.
